Wtf is up with boys and fighting? The Son went out last night and came home with a bloody nose and fat lip...he swears blind that he didnt do anything to cause it ( and we tend to believe him as the husbands friend was there at the club/pub where they were and saw the whole thing happen). Apparently he was just "standing" there when a guy ran up and punched him! Who does that???

We been calling him Bart all day :D ( not his picture but his lip looks exactly the same)

Lol, that explains nothing?? Was he standing the wrong way?

Maybe. Maybe he was standing to close to the other guy when he made a "witty" remark/called him a douche/made out with other dudes chick/[anything else except just standing there]

Ahhh, haha, ok. Probally a hot chick in the vicinity and someone felt threatened. "mommy beams"
Just joking, seriously...i wouldnt have believed he was completely innocent if i didnt have witnesses but its so unneccessary...having boys is not for the faint hearted and guess i just want to know from others who have boys, is this normal for them to come home and have been in fights for apparently no reason?

Carol, you wouldn't want to be my mother.

My brother have been in more bar fights than we would want to know about. He has landed in the emergency unit (or dept. or whatever it is called) of a hospital once and have put many others there. He even worked as a bouncer for a year.

Me ... I don't even mingle with the type of people where a situation that might lead to a slight verbal confrontation would be even remotely possible.

In that case, would have loved to be your mom
But boys from the west coast are generally quite gentle. I know my boy is like that..i asked him this morning if he at least got a punch in, he tells me that he just hunched up, covered his face and shouted he doesnt want to fight. He was quite mortified but I told him I was proud of him..and to rather stay away from the beachfront..there is always some shyte going on down there.

I used to be a real stirrer back in the day and the closest I have ever come to being in a fight was when I was minding my own business.

he was just standing, but perhaps he was feeling up the other guy?

You're starting to sound like my mother. I'M A GROWN MAN!!
Oh lol...to a mother, their boys will always be their babies! And really..the Carol35 was ages ago...its been so long now, i could very well be your mom :p

Punching someone in the face is so stupid, you're more likely to break your own fist than knock him out.

That's why you hit them in the face with your elbow

But don't do that, mmmmmkay. Violence is bad, mmmmkay.

no. nudity is bad and violence is good; I mean why else would one get more censoring than the other?

I loled so loud when i read this, i read it out to the husband. What do we know about our boy, and all who cover for him, when he is not being the perfect son at home- there i said it!
