I had my carport enclosed a while ago and turned it into a braai room. Thus far we have the braai in there (pics to follow) and a table with some chairs. Also added a speaker and subwoofer system with a stereo jack to connect to my cellphone for some music.

I feel like a child with a new toy. Any tips or ideas for stuff I can add to my braai room?

My wishlist to date:
TV on the wall for the sport.
Some cool posters/pictures with braai themes (Nou gaan ons braai!)
Any cool decor
Bar (Will propably be a fortune)
Indoor plants (any sugestions?)

Bar .... must have.

A rudimentary one will also do, but there has to be a bar counter with bar stools with some sort of display cabinet at the back.

I have an XL Springbok jersey that is like two sizes too small for me that I would like to frame along with my kid's babysize Springbok jersey. (and a baby pic of them each wearing the jersey inside the frame.) Defnitely something I want to do.
Ooooh and a WP flag! Thanks for the tip @ The)MAC.

Wind ....more wind...... and sand on the meat is not nice

Yeah braaing in the cape can be a miserable affair from past experiences down there. That fine white sand being whipped up does not help either and you guys don't really have 'soil' either.

A friend of mine had a house right on the beach in Simons town with magnificent deck overlooking the ocean. One complaint he had was the limited use of the deck due to the wind. But there were some good days.
