Brabantia juice extractor - any good ?

was in game late this afternoon.
on my way out, i spied the table where they have stuff with damaged packaging on special.

there were 2 brabantia 800w stainless steel juice extractors, 5yr warranty, with damaged boxes.
they are priced at R480 each, normal store price = R850.

are these extractors any good ?

Brabantia does not make juicers, most likely it is a OEM chinese production with Brabantia sticker on it. If you want something good get at least Braun, Philips.

There is a Hurom distributor in SA, they go for about R4k.

I bought one as well, and after 2 uses it went back to Game and was refunded because it was shyte.. they didn't even blink when I asked for a refund.

Interesting, what was the issue by the way? Is it cumbersome to use in terms of cleaning etc or is it just not good enough or both? I was thinking of getting one in this price range

They give very poor quality juice...

AFAIK the masticating ones like Huron and Oscar deliver pure juice. They can even extract juice from lettuce leaves and wheat grass. The centrifugal ones that look like the one in the picture still have a small a amount of pulp in the juice.

I find them OK for fruit drinks, smoothies etc.

Definitely end up at the back of a cupboard.
