I'm currently grinding Netherwing rep. Luckily not as long as Wintersaber, as I shoulod be done at the end of the week.

I did manage to get my Loremaster achievement on Friday night.

Better if you where the pala tank that won said mount off the druid, that and the mount from Attumen are my two rare ones

it is totally do-able to do it as any druid. for feral druids we just go bear and nuke the boss, for resto you need to know the tactics and heal the right npc allies that are in the fight with you. I never learnt it tho cos I dont need them (being feral) you do need to do the long quest chain though to get the orb to summon anzu. but more rep etc, and its just epic. starts in zangarmarsh at the cenarion enclave. in this case wowwiki is your friend

Anzu is the most epic ground mount that is reasonably easy to acquire

I have already completed most of the quest chain, up to actually killing Anzu himself, since I didn't have honored with Lower Citiy yet. I've been thinking about using macro's to cast rejuvenations on the NPC's and just trying to stay alive.
 
check out the tactics on wowwiki. the fight is quite simple. bit of tank n spank, he stuns you and summons some birds, you become unstunned but he becomes immune. kill the birds, beat on anzu. repeat once or twice, and bobs your uncle. in your case heal the npc allies (dunno which order though) as well, and millies your aunt
 
2 of my friends got the Brewfest Kodo this weekend :(

I'm the only one collecting mounts...bastards!
 
Yeah it sucks when the RNG give you the finger... 7 more days to go of brewfest - gimme a kodo dammit!

I've nearly completed the grind for a Argent/Silver Hippogrpyh, after having done the Crusader grind TWICE (Faction Change Fun), so which do you reckon the Brown or the White one?
I'm inclined to the White one, but fear that if I faction change again I'll land up with a dragonhawk, which I'm not a fan of.

Horde also happens to have an argent hippo (white)
 
Tournament Flying mounts
Exatled Argent Crusade : Argent Hippogrpyh (White/Brown - You fly it for the daily "Get Krakken")
Exalted Sunreavers (H) : Sunreaver Dragonhawk (Visible Next To Flight Master At Tournament Grounds)
Exatled Silver Convent (A) : Silver Convent Hippogrpyh (White - Visible Next To Flight Master At Tournament Grounds)

I prefer the Silver Convent Hippogrpyh, more shiny. But as you've pointed out the Argent Hippogrpyh is for both factions.
 
I also went through that :p

Had the Dragonhawk and then faction changed so had to grind rep again and buy the White Hippogryph. I think I lost my Dragonhawk (it didn't change to the Alliance one afaik).
 
Speaking of bragging, you can get your very own Spectral tiger on eBay for the low low price of $800. :p

My one mate has pretty much all those mounts and he flies from the UK to Blizzcon every year. He's got the rocket, the spectral, the blizzbear, you name it.

Nah, I've only ever bought 1 mount and that was the Celestial Mount :o And I only bought it cause it was the fastest I could get a mount to hit 90 mounts >.< Silly ol' me...
 
If the sparkle pony wasn't so.. sparkly then maybe.
Guild Mounts in Cata are looking awesome. Nerdgasm at the thought of premade WSG with guildies riding over the top with LIONS! Freaking LIONS!

Perhaps we could ship em to Stranglethorn and work on getting some Lygers?
 
I have to say I'm gonna love the Lion. About 2 years ago some1 in my hardcore guild asked something about a lion and SA and such. Allot of crap talk & jokes went on (you know them being from EU and not knowing much about 'africa' etc) and @ the end of the day every1 thought I had a pet lion IRL. It just kinda blew up and now even people I don't really know on the server ask me how my lion is doing and every1 is generally interested how the lion is doing. I kinda just went with the flow from there on.

When the lion mount was announced the 1st thing every1 said is that the most important thing in Cata is to get me riding on a Lion mount asap hehe
 
I have the brewfest ram twice on my warlock. Brewfest kodo on my priest, DK, shaman and druid.

Still no ram on my main (druid) thought and the GM's apparently can't send it from one char to another.
