Hi,

I recently had all my discs replaced. After this, my brake lights are staying on. (Actual rear-lights not the brake warning light).

When I park, if I pump the brakes then the lights go off.

There is no travel in the brake pedal so dont think its the switch at the pedal. I checked the fluid and it is at the correct level, not too high.

Will be a mission to take the car back to the dealership that replaced the discs - so want to figure out how to fix myself if possible

Braking performance is great, there is no softness in the pedal either. Any ideas?

And that would be exactly why it's the switch at the pedal as there is no travel.

So you need to adjust the switch but there is also the odd change it's possibly popped out of it's housing which is causing the issue.

Either way it will definitely be the switch.

Do you have a secondary parking light switch around your steering somewhere.
I have one on my Subaru. It's right above the steering column, and it gets bumped on pretty easily.
