These are the prices I got for a Renault Clio 2's front brakes. Are these prices good and are these quality products?

Deselra pads front R190 ex vat.
Ferodo discs front R150 ex vat each.

I have never heard of Deselra pads If they are genuine Ferodo pads then yes they are good.

Rather go Ferodo gold if still available.
Much better braking. Better heat braking and less noise.
Is ATE still around?

Do you think that's expensive?
Ferodo is a reputable company. Try and match the brands of discs with the pads.

Ferodo and ATE is what I buy

Only because I cant afford/justify EBC

ATE is the OEM on most modern cars...not sure about Renault but wouldn't be surprised to find the same.

That's pretty cheap Nangi but I would highly recommend get ATE or Ferodo pads instead.

Damn I was so hoping that would be an Online Shop for this kind of stuff.

You saying you don't have a local Midas? Wow! I have a choice of 4 within easy traveling distance!

I do. Midas is actually quite poor compared to Goeie Hoop Parts.

But as with all these things it's just so much easier if I could shop online and easily see exactly what I want beforehand and order it.

I dunno hey, imagine they mail you some wrong parts. It does not take long to service a car but if you now have the wrong part then you have to mail back the wrong one and then wait for the correct one while you could have just driven to the shop around the corner (I have a midas & autozone about 3km from me) and sometimes they might say to you over the phone they don't have part x but you see lots of people with old sample parts standing at the counter as that gasket that's listed in the OEM catalogue does not always match the one you pull off your car. I had that with a inlet manifold gasket.

Always a compromise for every benefit I guess.

My problem is rather that what someone tells me on the phone doesn't always translate into what they have in stock and want to give me eventually.
