Brand new SSD - not recognized when using with SSD enclosure

Tried all SSD's I have - they all work except the brand new one I received this week. What am I missing ?

I am pretty sure the last new one I bought was pre-formatted and worked correctly without any issues.

No, never done it with any SSD's I received before. They all worked when I put them in the SSD enclosure (the one which has a USB connector). And, after that, I used media creation tool to install windows - this is what I remember from last 2 times. I will read up on initialization - but if you guys know off-hand, please send me links.

Cool. Normally when you install a new drive and install the OS it does all of that automatically. Glad you got your drive sorted.
