And all I long for in Europe is a steady supply of Richelieu and KWV 10 year (without having to fork out 50+ euros for a bottle of Richelieu).

Something decent that I came across is this Rooster & Wolf brandy - pretty good!

I'm just waiting for Leo Prinsloo's company, Fortis Group, to reach an agreement with a local manufacturer (possibly Buffelsfontein Brandewyn?) on a "Kom-Jou-****" Special Edition 15 year old brandy. And possibly a 5 year old called "Brandewyn Het Nie Brieke Nie".

It may not suit Buffelsfontein in that Leo is clean shaven, so many other manufacturers with creative marketing departments could go for it.

14yo? I seriously doubt it at that price point. Using the French XO labelling helps keep the age vague (extra old = at least 6 years old). I also don't get the filtering through rooibos gimmick. IMHO it's now a liqueur or spirit drink and no longer a brandy.
