Sorry, took a while to get things sorted.
I had a quite a "haul" this year to add to the collection.
This is NOT normal, just this year I felt like getting something unique.
First of all, let me get the "shame" out of the way. Yes, that is a signature on the one bottle. Not my proudest moment, but hey. It is unique. I hopefully balanced it out with the bottle on the right?
Next some odds with brandy periferally involved in some.
Next up a bottle I wanted for a long time, the Meukow XO.
Next up the result of this thread.
And finally, something I can enjoy without guilt. My favourite.
Thank you for some of the very nice hints and 'heads-up' provided in the thread. Much appreciated.
Wife got us some of this recently and it's bloody excellent as a sipping brandy:

I was drinking the one bottle of 12 when I was in SA in Dec, and I also picked up the 15 as a Xmas present to myself.

How did you bring it back to the UK? Just in your luggage? I have a few Whiskey bottles in SA that I want to bring back with me next time and was wondering about this recently.

yeah, in your check in luggage.
Just wrap your clothes around it. And I think the legal limit is like 9 litres, but you really should get the limits.

so of course tonight I am drinking KWV 12 year old and Pepsi Max. And because I do not have ice I have to drink 2x doubles just so I can taste the brandy.

I will be drinking the 20 year old in June, I bought it and the 15 year in 2014, just need to ge a quality brandy glass.

Just googled them, they started in 2022, which begs the question, how are they complying with SA legislation that brandy must age for 3 years minimum?
