KWV Brandy and coke in a can

Interesting. Haven't seem any yet though.

As a strong heritage brand, KWV SA has decided to expand its offering within the RTD market with a premium brandy and cola that appeals to less traditional brandy drinkers.

'Brandy connoisseurs will remain connoisseurs,' said Gareth Haarhoff, Innovations Director at KWV. 'They have a mature palate and will stick to enjoying their brandy in the pure form. The new KWV3 and Cola drink appeals to the younger market that are confident, independent and aspirational and who will not compromise on quality.' Yes, that's us.

The Ready-To-Drink (RTD) category is the fastest growing alcohol category by volume.

KWV3 and Cola comes in a slender 330ml can, a new variation to the market and is best served out of the can to deliver the distinctive KWV brandy and cola taste.

'Compared to other brandy and cola brands, KWV3 & Cola is made with the premium three year old pot distilled brandy and despite the better quality is still priced competitively to the others and has the same alcohol volume of 5.6%,' said Haarhoff.

KWV3 and Cola will be available nationally as of 6 September 2012.

The recommended selling price is R210 per case of 24 or R10 a can.

Personally I prefer the 5 year over the 10. I find the 10 a tad sweet. My bottle of choice however is Premium.
 
OMG Pick n Pay is selling Van Ryns 10 year old for R139. Normally R220!

Get some!!!
 
I've had bad experiences with brandy :sick:

Cant drink the stuff anymore, I just hate that taste that lingers in the back of your throat afterwards :sick:

They do a 10, 12, 15 and 20 year old.

Catalogue says special is from 26 Nov to 26 Dec. Im sure they made an error
with the price. I mean reduced by R100 ... picked up 2 bottles :)
