Bravia Sync on STR-DH800 Amp and KLV-40S400A Amplifier

Hey guys,

I have the following sony components:

KLV-40S400A LCD TV
STR-DH800 AMP
SONY Playstation3

I am trying to set up the TV and Amp for Bravia Sync so I only have to turn one on and everything else turns on? However, on my tv when I try to search for HDMI devices, it says none found. Both the tv and amp have bravia sync so im not sure why its not working. Anyone have any ideas?
