So my SO and I won a competition via Mcdonald of an all expenses paid trip to Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. We planning on buying alot of stuff including presents and stuff for friends and family. My question is looking at a large amount of stuff that we'll buy what are the chances of just hopping onto a plane and coming back with them? Or if any of you know a trusted courier company that we can use.

Good luck with that adventure....I am sure Brazil is just getting a bad wrap from the world media, like we did before the competition...

i leave tomorrow night for the world cup. surely you can bring them back but have to declare them at customs when leaving Brazil or is it when entering SA.

Go to their beaches.

Apparently the g-string is their national outfit.

TAM, the Brazilian internal airline (like Kulula here) is notorious for losing baggage. Travel ALWAYS with spare clothes in your hand-luggage if you travel with them.

Also make sure you've had yellow fever inoculations, else you will pay through the nose to have them done, on the wrong side of immigration on your way home.
