Break ups...

Normaly I would find this a bucket of laughs BUT I just went through (still going through it) a very hectic break up. I cannot see the upside of ending a relationship. :(

There is an upside that is far more significant than any downside, and that is the concept of self. After coming out of a relationship, given time you start to feel like your "old self" again. That's not your old self that you're experiencing, that's you - that's you as opposed to the person you've become acquiescent in being as a compromise to keep the relationship stable.

What better result than being you again?

Myself but i have found you need to stop thinking about it, it takes awhile to sink in specially a long term break up.

Just don't get stuck thinking about it the whole time.

I find myself doing just :(. The bigger issue is I am using a ex gf who has become a great friend to get over the failed relationship. She wants to start where we left off but I just can't go there right now.

I see lots of heartbreak and pain in the future. How do you tell someone that you JUST NOT THAT INTO HER

Well, lets see! You definitely got more options compared to a few years ago.

Theres sms, e-mail, facebook, myspace, twitter, video conferencing (you might not want to use this).

Nobody uses face to face anymore! Its so 90s!

Stop contacting her... although she might be a good friend to you, you clearly mean a lot more than that to her.

Every time you contact her she thinks you need her or are interested. Just remember that right now, any contact you have with this girl is leading her on...

As for your breakup... No words mate. Spend time with your mates rather than new girls, this is when you need your mates the most
