Breakfast Prices gone up

Because during lunch one's usually not at home. As for dinner, its usually to socialize.
Why aren't you packing your own lunch and socialising at home? Too much effort?

You not making breakfast in the morning is either a sign of laziness or you need to organise your time better.
As a parent of two I know how to organise my time. ;) I also know the value of a working breakfast with clients and/or utilising the time after I drop off the kids at school to sit down, get some work done, and of course fuel the boiler, before going off to a morning assignment. My wife also has regular morning playgroups with other parents and their kids at the Spur during the holidays.

I stopped having the Spur Breakfast awhile ago, the Panarotti's one is vastly superior and includes a coffee. I will still pay R25 but won't carry on if it increases more

The other thing to watch for is that it isn't uniform across all branches. I went to a different Panarotti's than my usual and ended up paying a extra R30 for the coffee's which weren't included

My mistake, I've mixed up Panarotti's with Piattos.

Piattos still does a breakfast with coffee for R20

Only now do I realise that MyBB members live in absolute poverty. A R5 increase on a restaurant-prepared breakfast, carried to them by servants, might cause them to go hungry.

First world problems galore in this thread.

Now read that again.

Lol. True.

If R5 is breaking the bank, maybe it's time to stop eating in restaurants.

:wtf:

Nevermind, as you were.

O, I thought we were just judging others. My bad, I thought you said that people who eat out for breakfast are either lazy or struggle to manage their time. Well I do not struggle to manage my time thus I assumed you were calling me lazy without anything else to go on barring the fact that I do sometimes eat out in the mornings.....

I then pointed out how you were actually the lazy person seeing as you must have tons of time on hand in the mornings. So either you get to sleep too much or you work too little. Either points to you being lazy.

Sorry if any of that was in anyway unclear.

Now read that again.

You're working with small numbers. That's why the percentage increase is a convenient exaggeration of the absolute value of the increase.

Most of Spur's prices have gone up by a bit ,the milkshakes and waffles by R2. The steaks and major food items remain unchanged. They no longer have the "15 minutes or it's free" lunch specials though, those were great value.

To be fair, this breakfast has been priced R19.99 for some years now. The only problem I had, was that I always have more than one cup of coffee, and these went for R16.99 each. Only recently have they gone bottomless. So I went to Tygervalley Spur last week, and dammit, the coffee was so weak and tasteless (not just the first cup), I've decided to go back to the good old Mugg & Bean for an On-the-Go breakfast and bottomless coffee.
