Exactly my thoughts. They left it to the audience to decide if he's actually dead or not. A nice way to bring him back should the network decide to give it another season.

I think this is the kind of show that no matter how many seasons it has it will always be awesome. Should there one day be a season 6, I reckon it will be just as awesome as the previous 5.

But, having said all that, my belief is that he is actually dead and there will not be a season 6.

WW collapsed from the cancer and went into a coma, he was actually dreaming all of the past 5 seasons.
Season 6 sees him come out of the coma and then only he starts with this meth scheme, with all new characters, as those other ones were obviously non-existent
