one towel trick later and shes back in business but at this rate i will be a sony owner next year.
Using a towel trick is like adding fuel to a fire. Wrapping up an already overheated xbox is going to cause catastrophic meltdown.my 2nd xbox rrod'd on me last night.....

BGA reflow (long lasting) and GPU/CPU re-ball (permanent) is viable solutions!
Is this what you do maestro? My Xbox is in the post this week![]()
well my one friend did the towel trick for a little TOO long and after 6 months got the E74 error which is alot worse than just the 3 rrod.Maestro Za is spot on.... might have to end up sending the piece of k@k xbox through because i cant miss out on Fifa 2010 :O
What can be said is that this equipment isn't found at Part-serv, Power Care or Core ... let alone your local 'console repair shop'.
Nope only at every reputable electronics component suppliers. Nothing major to import or use, just need to get the correct one.
Uhm ... ja .. IAP is this advice or sarcasm? Hard to tell
Well the month I've had with the post office strike means buying this equipment is being pushed back.
I had to courier all parts due to clients not 'wanting to wait' for airmail like I usually get my parts, which threw out my budget quite a bit. Mostly PS3 lenses and optical blocks which aren't cheap to begin with. September was a loss really
O well ...
None of the twoo, just a comment, Would you like to see my gear? Just joking!![]()
