Hi guys,
I'm using Oracle's VirtualBox to toy around with domain administration and networking. If I set up one of my virtual machines to use a virtual bridged network adapter, then disable all the host machine's physical network adapter's settings (ie. Client for MS Networks, File and Printer Sharing for MS Networks, IP version 6, IP version 4, Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper I/O Driver, and Link-Layer Topology Discovery Responder), and leave the VirtualBox Bridged Networking Driver enabled, is my host computer invisible to the internet? My host network monitoring software indicates no network activity but I'm not 100% sure since this is a bridged network. I ask in case I stuff up group policies or firewall settings on the virtual machines I don't wan't to unwittingly create a passage from the VM to the host computer for malware or hackers. Thanks.
