Hi All,

Before I rush out and by a wifi adapter for my Samsung Blu Ray player, just want to find out if I can re-purpose my old Netgear N300 ADSL router.

I'm using the Archer C7 (AC1750) as my base, my old Netgear will connect to the base router via wifi and not via ethernet (which is what you would normally use to bridge the connection), but on the Slave Netgear router, I want to share the internet through one of the LAN ports. I don't think it can be done, unless anyone knows of some custom Netgear firmware that can assist with this?

if you can find a dd-wrt firmware for your netgear router you should be able to get this done.. it is a well known custom firmware for routers which allows you to repurpose routers for various things..
