I had my router port-forwarded awhile ago...I had some internet problems, and when I checked the router homepage I saw that it seems to have reset to the factory settings. The protocal was Ethernet over ATM instead of PPP over Ethernet and all the PAT and MAC addresses under Bridging were gone.

I reset everything, but can't remember if under Bridging, bridging should be enabled or disabled. Will port forwarding work if it's disabled?

I used this link (http://www.mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=27243) for portforwarding instructions.
Thanks.

All that bridging does is to put the router into a "modem" mode where the PC have to initiate the connection self, and when it's not bridged, the router have to initiate the connection.

So it will stop the router from portforwarding as you can use a Smoothwall to do portforwards and all the other fun stuff.

Cool, also, which is the right IP address to use?

IPconfig gives me 192.168.10.30, while in the PAT settings, the default HTTP port forward's IP is 202.103.24.68
