I watched the first 30 seconds of Sherlock S04E01 and realised that I have no recollection what happened in S03 so have dug out S03 for a rewatch and recap before moving onto the new ones.

What's happened to Sherlock? Rewatched season 3 then first episode of season 4 and its turned into a mess of a show with some convoluted plot line running over several years instead of feature length mysteries.

It's like the Matrix 2 and 3 or even worse, the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels where no one has a clue wtf is going on and the writers think they are being super clever.

Let's hope they get back onto some serious sleuthing the next couple of episodes.
