British TV does not suit everyone but I have been with Multichoice since its inception and love my British TV especially as that is where I originate from. I am paying around R1000 pm and can now find barely anything to enjoy except sport. So much is local content most of which I personally find rubbish or American and although we have been promised more British TV I just see it disappearing from the screen. Is it possible that their promise is good? If they are not going to make it worth my R1000 pm I shall look elsewhere for good TV. Also we are in our 70's and still multichoice does not offer a discount for pensioners - just take away what we most enjoy!

Can't you still get BBC iPlayer with a VPN subscription? Anyway you would likely find more British content just via YouTube than diluted DSTV. It's only about R100 a month for YouTube ad-free. Or maybe even Netflix at R139 or R165 a month, or maybe Netflix UK with a VPN. Never looking for British content myself so these are just ideas of places to look and likely others will have even better solutions.

This. Get a VPN and use iPlayer.

Multichoice are catering for the broader market which does not enjoy British.

I see they've introduced 4 pop-up channels temporarily featuring action movies - catering to their audience?

True story. Do you know what has happened to BBC Prime? Have they moved it or is it gone? BBC Brit is trash.
