broadband at shockingly low price

would someone just remind the telkom CEO of what you can get overseas.

....perhaps you can send him that link ...

Yeah, it's sick, I worked out we pay close to 200$ per month for 512 adsl and our telephone bill :( :o that really sucks!

5 bloody pounds........

You missed something there. It's 5 pounds extra for the unlimited package, but you still need to pay the 30 pound monthly fee for the mobile that you get.

The broadband is just an added extra. So, the deal is actually 35 pounds in total. (about R500).

Still, it's cheaper than the broadband in SA and it's uncapped! *Drools*....

AND you get your mobile plan with that. And its only a 12 month contract.

Pretty cool.

Still, what do you think 'Fair User Policy' entails?

Every service in the US its uncapped. Most of the world is uncapped.

If only we could get an uncapped service. It doesn't have to be 5mb/s, but at least give us the freedom to download what we want..... eish.

exactly even if its 128kbp/s i wouldn't care im not picky

£30/month and you get 300 evening and weekend minutes, 325 anytime minutes, 150 SMSes, AND 2GB at 2Mbps, and for £5 more you get unlimited (fair usage policy) at 8Mbps. Only the 2GB costs that much here, just shows how inexpensive bandwidth really is if they can use it to lure people to their mobile network.
^ Ok, really how long would it take to download stuff on a 128  you'd probably only use like 2Gb in a month!
On vlive you could download that in a few days.

Well, if you work it out, you ought to be able to download a bit more than 1Gb per day on a 128 line, assuming things don't go horribly wrong...
