Currently we have 7 PC's in the office. I currently use Linux which does NAT with IPTables for Internet connectivity with the 7 PC's. One problem that keeps on occurring is that FTP'ing through the Linux box just does not work well. When you connect directly with ADSL through the ADSL modem via PPPoe then FTP has no problems. I'm not sure why this is occurring but lately I'm thinking of getting a broadband router to solve the FTP problem. Will it solve it?
In other words I want to get a broadband router to forward or take care of Internet connectivity for all 7 PC's. Is this possible and where would I start or get any info on doing this. Have no idea what router to buy or where to start. Anybody have some advice on a situation like this.
Thanks
