Broadcast Message Text Colour - change ?

Is there anyway to customise from purple to black so that it seems more personal?

As a general thing I won't reply to joke broadcast messages - but if they come through black there's an obligation ... so I need to know if and what I can ignore

Not afaik - personally I want to know what's been broadcast and what's been sent directly to me.

Well thing is the jokes ... if it's broadcast, there's no worry in not replying.

But if someone has taken the time to send me one personally, I need to reply with something. Last night a mutual friend sent myself and another a joke ; his was purple and mine blaack. I replied ... but now that I know it was a broadcast (or not?), I wouldnt' have.

Oh well - I'll google
