A while ago I bought a CM Storm Scout case. When I got it two of the front-panel USB slots weren't working; since then both front-panel audio jacks (headphones and mic) have died too.

I've tried opening up the front panel to check for loose connections but it appears to be impenetrable.

Does anybody have any ideas regarding how to fix this? Failing that, does anybody know where I can take the case to get repaired?

If the case isn't a year old yet and you still have the proof of purchase you should be able to take it back under warranty.

You can probably have it fixed at a pc shop or most likely will have to be replaced if that's even possible given how special the usb port layout is in the front.

You can also get a front card reader/usb hub but not sure if you can find one that has the audio ports also

read this thread here for more help: http://www.cmstorm.com/forum/showthread.php?954-CM-Scout-Broken-usb-port-plastic-spacer

Hi there,
I don't know the case but I did follow the link from NomNom. It sounds like it is a difficult case to work with in that area and the support on the thread didn't impress me either.
I would take it in and let those that have done it before have a go. Of course if it is less than a year old you should take it back.

Regards

Tim

Thanks for your help guys (and sorry for only replying now; I've been out of touch). I'll see about taking it to get repaired.
