Broken fan on a projector

I have a projector that we normally used for sport events eg. RWC ect.

But it keeps over heating and shutting down? :mad:

I did poke around and came to the conclusion that it is one of the extractor fans that does't work?

Is there a place i can replace it? (the fan) or should i just buy a new one?

I am in the pta area

(PD-s621 premier 600*800)
 
are you sure it's the fan... some projectors have filter/lamp timers that need to be reset (after cleaning ofcourse)

it works for about 3min to 5min then shuts down?

there are two fans? 1 pulls air in, and the other sucks it back out?

the one sucking out the warm air just wont turn?
 
Got the fan measurements & specs? Should not be to hard to find a replacement. Papst would be a good start.
 
i can take it out?

but i am worried about the amount of heat that it must withstand?

it there a special make of fans for extreme heat?

btw! thx for the advise so far
 
6cm x 6cm x 25mm 16CFM fan 12V,easily replaceable
