I've managed to physically break my front USBs (don't ask ...)

Is there a way to replace only them, or do I need a new motherboard? I use them fairly frequently :/

In the old days when I only had 2 USB ports at the back of MB, one is for my mouse and I plugged in another 4 port USB HUB with extension cable and let it sits next to my monitor, so look at something similar to these ones.http://www.extremeshop.co.za/index....20&PHPSESSID=036fb76b0312b7370c01c602191fe748

BTW if the front USB ports were broken physically, it's the chassis you need to replace, not the motherboard.

Yeah, if you've just physically broken them, you'll need a new chassis.... if you've shorted the connections on your MB, you'll need a new MB (though you'd know that by the PC not working properly anymore anyway)

Thanks!

Chassis .... erm. A silly question, but is that entire box? Transplant all the insides to a new box?

Go to any PC shop and ask them if they havnt got any chassis usb "spares" lying around. Usely its just a small PC board that connects to your output usb connections on your motherboard which in turns screw onto the front of your chassis. I had a spare one a while back and flogged it for R75
