Broken mouse-pad button on laptop

Hi

The right click button from the mouse pad on the HP Probook 650 G1 came off and one of the small black clips broke.
According to Ensure IT, one has to replace the entire top part of the keyboard which costs over R2000.

Does anyone perhaps know of alternative way of repairing?
