Damn teenagers!

So my daughter went ahead and cracked the screen of her BB. I am in Joburg. Can anyone recommend a reputable repair centre that won't cost an arm and a leg? Can any give an indication of how much it will cost [-]her[/-] me to fix it?

Unfortunately an arm and a leg is what your likely to pay, screen repairs run in the thousands, i got a quote for a keyboard that was over R600. Screens are expensive items, repair centers and cellphone shops will always recommend a a BER (Beyond Economical Repair) if you have insurance, as in 95% of the cases a replacement screen with labor works out more than the cost of a replacement handset in which case the insurance excess is a far cheaper solution.

My BB screen was fixed last year after I cracked it. Cost me just over R500. I sent it in with my providers (Nashua).
