Brother Ink Tank Printer Experience & Recommendation

How is the scan, print (and duplex print if you have it) and photocopy quality of your Brother Ink Tank? I've heard the photocopies often have a gray tone over the whole page.

And if you've tried both, what's your impression of a Brother vs Canon inktank?

What did you end up buying? And what has been your experience?

I just bought a Brother inktank on black friday. Posted some info on my comparison between the different brands over on another inktank post here on MBB.

I got a Brother. The scan and photocopy functions aren't as good as the other inktanks but the Brother makes up for it being a workhorse. It just keeps going and going.
