Browser disconnects

I've been having this problem for the past few weeks now. I would be connected to the internet but the browser appears not to be.

I thought it was a problem associated with IE7 so when I switched to FF I thought that the problem would be fixed. But I was wrong. Instead of getting the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message, with FF it just doesn't do anything (refreshing the page doesn't work, neither does trying to go to another site).

And with all of that I am still connected to the internet.

Can someone please help me out cos I doubt I can blame this one on Telkom...
 
ff doesn't say anything....I'll refresh the page and the progress bar will appear as if the page is loading but it doesn't....The progress bar goes away and nothing has happened to the page.

We use the Mega 100WR Router to connect to the internet.
