Browser is running out of memory...

During on handset browsing I get the following error:
"The browser is running low on memory. Try closing some tabs to avoid running out of memory."

I have 2 tabs open...
Really?
 
A follow up error:
"The page you requested could not be loaded; its too large for the device."

Really?

LOL, what phone do you have? I've never seen that on my torch, but I haven't really tried to stress it.
 
Its doing this because you are running low on onboard memory or memory that you use for applications, for example my 9300 came out with OS5 and I upgraded to OS6, before the upgrade I had something like 120mb free onboard(you can check if you go to memory details in options or on the top right when you are in myworld of app world), now after the upgrade my free memory dropped to around 60mb meaning that when I browsed it used this 60mb quicker and resulted in either "page to large closing page" or another error saying I must close some tabs.

Bottom line is you need to free some space up by deleting apps u don't use, you can also use a program bb boss(at your own risk) it will allow you to delete languages and the "locked" default pictures and ringtones.

I'm seriously considering downgrading my 9300 to OS5 - will miss a lot of the "new" niceness, but at least you have much more memory. If I remember correctly, you don't have tabbed browsing which kind of defeats the downgrade if it's to get better browsing. The 9300 should never really have been allowed to run OS6.

I deleted lots of the standard apps and games and refrain from installing interesting apps (just have the bare minimum, like Podtrapper, BeReader, VLC Remote, GTalk, err, OK still a few) and I've got a mildly better experience now.

I think the best thing to do is to upgrade to a new BlackBerry, but that's not always possible.

I have 300mb free app memory on my 9780, yet I still get this error when I browse sometimes.

It does this, because the browser uses too much RAM when opening up large websites.
