I'm using both IE 5.5 & Mozilla Firefox 1.0 on my trusted Win Me and IE 6 on XP(rarely). Both browsers give me problems when trying to view some threads on this forum and other vBulletin forums, when I click on the thread the browser just shuts down (closes automaticaly) is there a specific thing causing this?

I don't have that problem at all- using FF1.0 & IE6.
If it weren't for the fact that you say it also happens with FF, I would suggest a visit to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

Ok Stepper, dare I ask what are you running to combat malware on your PCs?
What Antivirus s/w & Firewall s/w are you using, and more importantly is it updated?

Ok, I think you should try something else to detect & rid your PCs of malware:Norton, IMO, not exactly the best option, but you can make up your own mind after reading all of this thread.
