As a past customer of Sentech I found FASTERFOX extention pretty effective when surfing. Since moving over to IBurst the extension seems to interfere and lead a number of pages "timing out".

Has anybody had the same experience or recomendations

I doubt it is Fasterfox extension. iBurst does however have problems with their DNS servers from time to time, which might cause the timeouts, ie. can't resolve the name from the DNS server

I have the same problem with Faster Fox. It seems to time-out quite a few Intl websites, including YouTube. I recommend you remove it. At 1mb/s, it won't really make a difference anyway.

Then again, you can always tweak firefox manually to do the same as fasterfox does

There is a problem with Pipelining it seems, you might want to try disabling that and see if the rest of the tweaks benefit you.

I find that a few pictures wont load on a page if you have pipelining enabled, this might also lead to the page timeouts..

About those manual tweaks, i dont think me or Landy feel like giving them out again... There was a thread in the iBurst forum on that few weks ago, you should be able to find it easily, some great links on how to do everything manually from there.

Thanks guys

Thanks everybody, truly appreciate the imput. :)

lol, well if we gave you all of the instructions it would be very long and full of charts etc.

But a simple web link can actually get you access to all of the chnages you need.
