... and it's amazing how some inexpensive some cars actually, compared to their new price. Over the last few weeks, I've seen a Polo GTI for R150, a Fiesta ST at R125k, a Focus ST at R185k, Golf 5 GTI at R185k and an A3 2.0T at R200k ...

Granted - I would be very reluctant to buy a performance car used, but the option is there and they're selling at 'low' pricing!

Yeah I got my Panda 8 months old with 14000km on the clock for R89k. New at the time they were R145k.

It's nice buying a brand with crap resale value 2nd hand.

Totally agree with this.

Jeep's seem to have very low resale (except the Wrangler) and you get lots of features etc for the price.
