BROWSING PROBLEMS....again

Anyone in the CT area experiencing problems browsing local sites?And some international as well..As of this AM.
Managed after waiting for..f@%#ing..ever to get through to "customer care"... and as per usual they had no idea what was going on.Have you...ugh...tried to...ugh...reset your modem...or...ugh...your router...?MORON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO SICK OF THIS ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The technicians are looking into it.

Anyway... just wondering if anyone else having issues as well.

Also...why is it when the browsing faks out( which happens so regularly these days) that this site always works? Strange.

Yes you are not the only one, even my normally fast connection had problems earlier.:(

Seems ok now though.:D
 
I honestly gave up already...no point in complaining anymore. Nobody at iBurst cares, and the sooner we except that the sooner we can go on with our slow/unstable connection lives.

Yes, I am in CT, and yes my internet sucks... what's new.
 
aaahhhhhhhh nooooooo....browsing is all we CAN do!! haha....can't take that away too!

I logged a ticket this morning about this problem. Isn't there anyone at iBurst who has enough brains to understand that we are tired of this Africa-service they deliver and we expect more. I'm voting with my feet and intend going elsewhere. The only question is; Where???

Maybe some radically fanatical action is needed to wake ISP's up. Anyone has some spare C4 I can "borrow".
 
I guess you don't often borrow C4 if you plan on using it... :D

Where = ADSL or wait for WiMax, but I'd just go for ADSL.
 
I had the same problem last night, however it is fine for me now.

Try changing your IP, it's worked for me a few times.

When you say the server do you mean the battle.net server or just the plain auth system login page at www.war3.co.za?
 
both.i cant get on to the battle.net server or the forums or the auth page this is the second time this has happened. have tried reseting ip but thats not helping. last time i had to wait 3 days before i was able to log on!
 
Same here they both time out.

EDIT: just tried again and I accessed both of them.
 
I am in JHB you? could this be a peering issue? do they consider this server p2p activity?

EDIT:just started working now to. strange?

Ja, I've had that twice now in the last few days.

I'm not sure whats causing it, but theres a thread about it on the war3 forums too.
 
Hehe not WoW, plain Warcraft 3, mostly for Dota though...

The WoW peopple have been angry for a while, check out the "support" blog on the iBurst site.
 
My bad....throwing my 2 cents in like it counts heheh...lalala...

I can understand the frustration..I bet a lot of people got Iburst just for gaming I guess...the prob is that WHEN Iburst is working it is soooo good...
 
With all the complaints on their blog it surprises me that they attract any new customers at all.

And the dumb replies their "team" offers should be enough to send anyone running.:eek:
