BSc IT at Richfield worth doing?

That's why the are Microsoft certification , Oracle and much more international exams that can carry more then A degree and there are countries that recognises South African college degrees and example is Australia.

Now that you've had your say I can add my two cents. Apparently those certifications doesn't cover the fundamentals of English. Don't flatter yourself. You are telling a whole group of people who have degrees including a few people with pHd's that their degrees are worthless, yet it isn't. A degree teaches the fundamentals, a certificate doesn't the only thing a certificate certifies is that you can use a specific technology.

IT is a big field - what do you want to eventually do? This would likely determine what’s best.

For the most part, I generally recommend vendor certifications (Oracle,Cisco, RedHat, Microsoft, etc.) for short targeted courses and a degree through UNISA otherwise (for software engineering).

Well see I want to become a business analyst sooo I'm doing a diploma in IT I only got 2 choices which is to study at damlin or richfield I need to know which one is better well recognized and if me studying at 1 of these 2 place will give me a better chance at getting a job I only have these 3 options I really need yalls help with this decision I'm very confused on which one to choose

I believe so - I know that our network guys have typically done the last two.

Hi guys, as the title suggests, would it be worth it for me to do a BSc IT at Richfield? I presume that it's at the same level as the Damelin IT degree. The reason I'm looking at this, is because I tried, both for this application period and the period for semester 1, to apply to study through UNISA. However both today, and then, I could not even get helped because of the staff shutting down the campus due to protests. This is really disheartening and I really want to get this over with, can't wait years for UNISA and never even start a degree.

I can't apply online because the highschool I attended is not listed in the online application tool, and since I did the old syllabus, only 4 of the 6 subjects I took are listed online.

So I just really want to ask, would doing the Richfield degree be worth it at least for the sake of getting a job in IT? I can already program, have for years. But can't get a job, they always require a degree. So would this be worth it? They are apparently accredited, but obviously the course would not be at varsity level. I can't do full-time studying because I work.
