BSc (IT) v B.IT at Tuks. What is the difference?

As asked. What is the real/effective difference between the 4 year BSc (IT) v B.IT.

Is anyone here doing the B.IT and Why? or Why not?
What is the net effect on carreer choice by doing the one as opposed to the other

What effect would it have to the exposure to programming/development.

Honestly, I don't think there is much of a difference, beyond the obvious one of a different name. I'm currently at Tuks, doing a B.Eng, which is known at most other universities as a B.Sc(Engineering). So I think it's just Tuks making more of an effort to distinguish it's courses from each other.

There must be some compromise as it is based on SIT and there are no real choices as it is a fixed curriculum or module selection of sorts. Therefore my anxiety about what is missed if any.
