Hi guys!

There just arent games out there that is worth buying at this stage....

I have decided to do the BT Games Rental system type thing...
Is anyone part of it or was anyone part of it?

It seems almost too good to be true - what is the catch?

My question is, if its, for instance COD Modern Warfare, will you be able to play online? The person before you would have created a profile with that copy right?

Kage - There are no hidden catches or anything, it's month by month pay and play ........

Mephisto - Is it still R99 per month? What do I need to take to join etc?

It's console based so you play with your consoles gamertag. There are no keys.

just register on their site and you'll get an e-mail.
You then have 14 days to get to your nearest store and pay R200 for the first one.

You start with a wishlist of 5 to 10 games and they will then contact your preferred store to try and get those games.
:D

UNLIMITED TITLES PER MONTH (1 title at a time) - R199
3 TITLES PER MONTH (1 title as a time) - R99

And you have to fill in your wishlist on the site when you register ;)

Well this weekend i am doing it...will give my feedback the dude seems to know what he is talking about at least.
Lets see what games are available though....hopefully it wont be another PushPlay...

That's a cool system, it would be really cool for PC games, but everyone would just crack the games hehehe.

Upside - you get to return games that you don't like and swop them for something else.

The down side is that the games you have to choose from are subject to availability - if there's a game that you want but someone else already has the stores only copy you just have to wait til they return it (or the shop gets another copy)

Other than that it seems to be a pretty sweet deal :D

Well I am xcited so far. :D
Just got an email and one of the games that I wanted (Last Remenant) is available and being held for me until Saturday!

Well I got one of the games that I wanted, so I am sorted. :D
The coolest thing that I am looking forward to is all the older, mediocre games that I want to play but not willing to dish out R700 for game, I now have access to...

I was looking at the whole BTgames rental system and it does seem like a good idea. But when i applied they wanted me to provide 3 months bank statements. I seeno reason for that and i personally dont think they have any right to look at my bank statements.

Have you seen how meticulous they are with checking that none of the games you swap for credit have scratches? If the game is mailed to you with a scratch what recourse do you have to ensure that you don't have to pay for the game?

By seeing my back account wont ensure i pay for a scratched game

well i am happy so far.
been a building a good rapport with the one guy at the store to make sure that i get the games i want.

:D
