Dear oh dear, something really needs to be done about this 3rd world outlook on the internet. SA is severly **** thanks to good old Telkom.

A Little background, I moved from the UK to Cape Town, and then decided I'd like to get the internet, and what do I find... ADSL always on??! my arse, if you hit 3 gig its off lol. My experience in SA has really taught me how much BT Internet were actually not as ****e as I first thought!!

How can Telkom get away with this, and how can anyone really look at South Africa in any other way, than that it is a 3rd world country under the dictatorship rule of Telkom!!! :)

3 gig caps lol.

I have a friend in Sweden who has a connection in his home of 100MBs a second, and it costs nothing at all. :)

Yeah, internet is crap here.

But atleast our beer and petrol is cheaper than the UK. :)

Bring on the beer ........ empty those bottles. With out cheap petrol we could always make some Mollotov cocktails. Shaken not stirred.

Fact is; Telkom will be Telkom and we will always just be consumers. Shareholders are treated differently ; indifferently.

Shareholders my a*&@#s. Who is the real shareholders???

Us, without us, the consumer, Telkom is nothing.

So, we are the shareholders becauase we put more money into Telkom than
anyone else.

But there is no other choice. I would rather have internet and and a phoneline than not have one.

:) Im glad you love them, it is 100MBs also known as 1Gigabit connection, and when I said costs nothing, I meant in relative terms to the cack I pay for on my Telkom connection :p.
