BTCar browser Hijacked

Help. My Browsers been Hijacked by BTcar. It keeps redirecting to it. Using IE7. Tried adaware and Norton to clean but it doesn't pick it up...but still rediercts its

Fixed!..here's how:

1. Disable System Restore and download tools below and boot into Safemode (press F8 during Bios/Cmos screen and login as Administrator)
2. Run ATF-Cleaner.exe
3. Run Fixwareout.exe
4. Reboot
5. Run Gmer.exe (and delete files as required)
6. Reboot Run Gmer.exe (if still there delete registry keys of bad files)
7. Reboot Run Gmer.exe, install mbam-setup.exe and run and reboot (if fixed reset system restore)

..all tools are available as freeware.

This bugger was ruthless and its real name is DNS Hijacker-85.255 ..and by the way..it infects Opera as well as Firefox..so good luck to the next victim ..I hope this helps.

this fix works as a repair removal tool for W32.Tidserv as well. Fsck I'm being hacked this weekend! Damn TopSites
