Hey vampire, I asked and the streams no longer exists, everyone does those same four modules. So does this mean I should apply at telkom now or what?

If it's centered around software dev and not software support then you can apply at telkom for a dev job rather than a helpdesk job

Btech is being phased out, the last intake will be for the 2017 year due to the government changing it to a advanced and postgraduate diploma.
Maybe some institutions are starting early?

It doesn't really matter which one you learn, they're all very similar. Maybe start with Java or C# as you'll most likely be using one of those languages in your 1st year.
