Hi,

I am moving due to budget constraints my ISP. Considering Budget ADSL? Comments please?

Thanks for this. Do you recommend it? I am having to look for an ISP that will not tie me into long contracts and afford me ADSL Connection.

Budget does not have contracts. Month to month. Only draw back is that you only have mail support (That's why that can be so cheap). But what can go wrong with ADSL account?

I use BudgetADSL. Not much to complain about here, except that it can be hard to get support from them. Sometimes they don't answer e-mails, and I had to constantly mail them for about a week before they actually set up an e-mail account for me.

Nothing wrong with the account itself. They set it up for me in a few hours, it's month-to-month and I can pay via Internet banking. All good.

Anybody using the 2Gb account Budget ADSL offer? Trying to find out if you still have local access once capped. Pretty cheap @ R170.

Imaginet's 3Gb @ R219 is nice, but the "hard limit" on traffic sucks.

got the 3gb account on BudgetAdsl, no problems besides someone figuring out my password but that was sorted within a day. I dont require support or any of that other fancy garnish.

BudgetADSL is still expensive.
Rather wait until 1 August, and see how much Telkom reduces its ADSL price.

Yeah, I just want a username and password! :P

Yes you still have local access...

Attached is our information sheet,

Kind Regards,

The BudgetADSL Team.

Budgetadsl has lowered their prices. Its now R198 p/m for a 3gig account. I agree their support can be slack but apparently they have been bought by some ISP so things have been really good so far. I recommend them!

Thanks Eveil-Twin,

Indeed budgetadsl has been prusched by Online Digital Solutions, BudgetADSL customer will now have full access to ODS's voice services etc, its now always about the price, but more about the value adds.
