Any suggestions of a budget gamepad for a casual pc gamer? Preferably below R500/R600

I've had one of these for years and years and years, love it, its comfy as hell too.

Don't know if you still get it but was R400 at the time

lol, purely subjective man. of course, if it works, it works.

Haha ja no worries, to me its more comfy that the fatness that is other controllers, the only issue I've had with it is that the trigger position is the wrong way round so some games see them as pressed when they aren't but this can be solved by inverting the setup.

Go to Checkers's Tech bar and buy a Xbox One V2 controller for R800. It works via Bluetooth and wired.
You won't be sorry.

If you are worried about having to swop out the 2xAA batteries, get one of those Spartfox rechargeable battery kits for R200 later on.

Also still have a wired white xbox 360 controller. Bought it for R360 many years ago, still working 100%. Got a wireless edition as well. Rare to get the wired 360 ones nowadays, I have looked :cautious: But yes invest in a Xbox 1 controller if you can.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'll up the budget and get an Xbox 1 v2 controller because of the wired/wireless options and compatibility.

This is super late but might help someone else in the future. Check out the sparkfox.

It has solid build quality at a good price, can connect to pc, xbox360 and android via either Bluetooth, USB, or a USB receiver that's included.
