Hey guys,

I'm looking for buget headphones so no beats or anything like that. My price range is under R2000.

I'm looking for a good pair of headphones that are:
Portable
Have Good bass
Possibly wireless(not a deal breaker)
Good quality(I plan to travel with it in a backpack)
Compatible with iPhone

Also it must be available In South Africa so no eBay or Amazon links please.

Lots here: http://www.audicoonline.co.za/AKG

I got myself the AKG K374 in ear set at R899.00.

Takealot has good Sennheisers on special from time to time.

You might want to take a loot at the Sennheiser HD518 at around R2300 with Loot.

and you posted the same picture twice, just saying
Also headphones and earphones are interchangeable, ear buds would probably be more correct for the in ear phones.

AKG Y50, can be had for about R1500.
Frequently on special, sound great, comfy, great bass.
I prefer them over my Sennheiser 598's, running off an avr or from phones.
Only con i can think of is they are on ear and not nearly as comfy as over ears like the 598's

Yeah I've seen those and they look good but comfort is a big deal for me and that's why I am looking for over ear headphones.

How are the Bose soundtrue headphones? I've seen good things about them about comfort as well as the fact that they come with a carry case which is handy for traveling. How is sound quality and what about value for money?

If you want quality then you will have to pay, you can't really have quality and paying nothing. Sure you can get budget; but.

Most of the over the ear range you are going to look at more pricey solution especially if you want comfort.

I have these and they are ****ing epic. However I did had to get a sound card with an amp to properly push them...
