just wanted to know if anyone can suggest a laptop/ultra book with a full hd screen and a minimum of a i3 processor for around the 10k mark? noticed that most laptops with full hd screens are around 14-15k

ASUS Transformer Book TP300LA @ R9575

ASUS Zenbook UX305FA @ R10,413

As far as ultrabook-like models go with a 1080p display, these are your choices currently. Sometimes you'll get lucky in Incredible Connection, Dion Wired, or Makro with older or demo stock at a clearance price, but it doesn't happen often.

Lenovo Ideapad Z50-70 (AMD Kaveri with dual graphics) @ R8999

And the Z50-70 is the cheapest 15.6-inch notebook with discrete graphics that doesn't suck tremendously. Still has DDR3 memory, but it's not completely horrible for casual gaming and MOBA-type titles.
