Hi there, can anybody recommend a good budget laptop at a good price? Specs should be at least i3 processor, 500gb hdd, decent speed. Used mostly for work, browsing, movies etc. Budget around 6k. Thanks

Looks decent, nice portability. Are the celerons worth it tho? Esp at that price?

If you can do it yourself, add an SSD to the price, and install it.
It will make the most difference no matter what CPU you have.

Wow that's incredible.. Never tried installing an ssd before, is it the same as installing a Normal hdd? Any good prices out there?

I did one just last week on someone's 2 year old lappy running windows 10.
there will be tutorials on the net but basically

If the laptop comes with windows 7/8 upgrade it to 10 and make sure it is activated.
Get the windows 10 media creation toolkit and create yourself an install disk. Your license is fine if you did step 1.
Open the laptop and put in the SSD like any other 2.5" drive.
Install windows and you're good to go(and all the bloatware is removed as well).

128GB R1k
256GB R1.6k

I do not understand the obsession with CPU speeds in (non gaming/rendering)laptops.
Any modern CPU can handle browsing/Office/apps/movies with ease.
