Has anyone here ever traveled to Buenos Aires? Is it worth a trip? Does it live up to the hype of "the Paris of South America"?

I have been to Buenos Aires and know a couple of people who live there. One refers to BA as a concrete jungle due to the skyscrapers, although there is a lot to do as it is massive (I assume you are talking about BA the province and not the city). If you are going to Argentina, then much better to travel to Patagonia or Salta.

vegetarian looking for veg prawn that tastes similar to real prawn. Don't understand the logic why the hell some people are vegetarian. Serious confusion regarding the reasoning behind some individuals choosing to follow a vegetarian lifestyle.

Fun fact. There’s a small community of Afrikaner descendants in Patagonia. Saw a documentary on them some time ago.
I've read about that too, it's actually really interesting how their language evolved.
