And so my white car has collected some scratches over time.

None really deep, but quite a few from shoppoing mall trolleys and idiots thinking the car is a resting place for stuff........was talking to a mate and he suggested i take my car for complete buffering.

Has anyone had this done, can recommend a good place in Jhb West, knows how much ?

Is it worth it ?

Sorry but your nick made me LOL after I read the article.

A 3 step polish would probably do the trick. Im sure they use a clay bar when doing the 3 step, which softens the paint and removes all the muck lodged inside.

I don't know any places in the west but in Randburg there's a place called Xtreme Carwash, close to Multichoice. The guys there always do a great job.

Where exactly is it? I leave 5 minutes from Multichoice but have never seen the place. I also have a few scratches I need to take care of.

Is it a drive in for such jobs or do I need to phone in first?

think the place they are referring too is, between multichoice and bright water, down republic...

...if you guys get the prices, please post as i would also be interested.
