Its always been the same group that have owned Game, Makro and Builder. Even Before Walmart came along.

If you're in Durban, I've found the 2 best hardware stores to be Sallajees and Wardkiss.
The staff know whats going on, and they're reasonably priced as well.
Now there's a blast from (my) past! They still in Queensburgh, just past the railway bridge in Sarnia road?
I love walking around those stores just to look at stuff![]()
Not much. But not all shops are open on Saturdays let alone Sundays. How much effort does it take to pick up a phone?
Seems I'm always finding really old threads and replying. Sorry if this is now irrelevant, but wanted an opinion on the latest.
I've been pricing kitchen cupboards, DIY flat packs to be specific, and have found Builders cheaper than Timber City, etc.
Anyone got more suggestions or sources? I've been on the hunt for 2 months now pricing and Builders is coming in around 8% cheaper.
A big saving if you ate on a small budget...
12V batteries at BW R300. R240 at the local security shop
